Ann-Marie Johnson
Communications Manager
Ann-Marie’s job is all about communicating TIA’s work to members and promoting the economic and social value of the visitor industry to the wider public through working with media, TIA newsletters, website, magazine and other tools.
She joined the TIA team five years ago after many years working the beat as a reporter on newspapers around the country, including the Dominion Post, Otago Daily Times and Rotorua’s Daily Post (where she first covered tourism stories).
Outside work, Ann-Marie enjoys travelling, movies, reading and gardening. She’s also a dab hand at the piano. Her ambition is to further Franco-Kiwi tourism relations by opening a TIA branch in Paris.
