Host city


In 2017, TRENZ will be hosted at Queens Wharf in Auckland, New Zealand. The city boasts world-class shopping, restaurants, bars and galleries at your fingertips, as well as wine regions, modern waterfront precincts by sparkling harbours, gorgeous beaches and pristine rainforest throughout the region to explore.

TRENZ PROGRAMME


The TRENZ programme is an interactive mix of one-on-one business meetings, industry sessions, presentations and networking functions along with a range of activities and tours to experience.

The interactive programme includes:

Up to 31 business focused appointments between Media and Sellers

A comprehensive media programme run by Tourism Industry Aotearoa with support from Tourism New Zealand

Industry sessions with the Breakfast Speaker Series and Media Programme presentations

Networking functions including Welcome Function, TRENZ Bar, Farewell Function and TRENZ Media Function

TRENZ Activity Afternoon (where delegates experience local Auckland products and experience first hand)

For those of you joining us in 2017, there are plenty of key dates to be aware of leading up to the big event. Here are some of the most important to mark in your calendar as the countdown to TRENZ begins.

Applications open 30 January 2017.


30 January 2017: Media applications open


31 January 2017: My TRENZ Zone goes live

N.B. All Media delegates receive access to My TRENZ Zone upon confirmation of attendance


3 March 2017: Applications close


March 2017: TRENZ Activity Afternoon registration opens in My TRENZ Zone soon


15 March 2017: Appointment scheduling opens (request appointments with Sellers you wish to meet with. Sellers will also request to meet with you at this time)


Mid-March 2017: Accommodation confirmation is available in My TRENZ Zone


6 April 2017: TRENZ Activity Afternoon registration closes


21 April 2017: TRENZ Activity Afternoon experience available in My TRENZ Zone


24 April 2017: Delegates can no longer cancel appointments from this date

N.B. You can continue to schedule appointments up until and throughout TRENZ until the last appointment on 12 May 2017.


TRENZ 2017 will take place from Tuesday 9 May until Friday 12 May.


Media Package



Accomodation

All Media will receive four nights of accommodation with our Official Accommodation Providers, checking in Tuesday 9 May and checking out Saturday 13 May 2017.


Flights

Air New Zealand, Premier Sponsor of TRENZ will provide international Economy flights to New Zealand for selected Media. Qualifying Media will receive booking information, options to upgrade and full terms and conditions from your local Tourism New Zealand representative.
