Hosting over 350 Buyers every year, TRENZ is a business-to-business travel and trade exhibition event where Sellers can connect, interact and do business with a focused target audience of key Buyers and Media from over 29 countries. Throughout four days of business to business appointments, the event provides you with the facilities and connections to foster relationships, make deals and secure contracts – and for a fraction of the investment and time it would cost you otherwise.

On average, every TRENZ Buyer sends 4000 visitors to New Zealand annually. This equates to approximately 1.5 million visitors to New Zealand. TRENZ is a fantastic opportunity to ensure your product is on their itinerary.

In 2017, TRENZ will be hosted at Queens Wharf in Auckland, New Zealand. The city boasts world-class shopping, restaurants, bars and galleries at your fingertips, as well as wine regions, modern waterfront precincts by sparkling harbours, gorgeous beaches and pristine rainforest throughout the region to explore.

The interactive 2017 programme includes:

A choice of up to 25 (via Shared Booth, totaling 50 appointments), 51 or 102 business-focused, one-on-one appointments between Buyers and Sellers

Industry sessions with the Breakfast Speaker Series and Media Programme presentations

Networking functions including the Welcome Function, TRENZ Bar and Farewell Function

TRENZ Activity Afternoon (where delegates can experience local Auckland products and experiences first hand)

For those of you joining us in 2017, there are plenty of key dates to be aware of leading up to the big event. Here are some of the most important to mark in your calendar as the countdown to TRENZ begins.

Applications open 26 October 2016.

18 November 2016: Applications close

N.B. Application outcomes will be advised in early December 2016.


27 January 2017: Full and final payment due

N.B. 50% cancellation fee applies for Sellers from this date.


31 January 2017: My TRENZ Zone goes live and appointment requests open (request the Buyers you want to meet with)


7 March 2017: Appointment requests close

N.B. 100% cancellation fee applies for Sellers from this date.


7 March 2017: TRENZ Activity Afternoon registration opens in the My TRENZ Zone


15 March 2017: Appointment scheduling opens (review your appointment schedule and fill any remaining meeting spaces)


6 April 2017: TRENZ Activity Afternoon registration closes


21 April 2017: TRENZ Activity Afternoon experience available in My TRENZ Zone


24 April 2017: Trade Booth appointment requests open


24 April 2017: Delegates can no longer cancel appointments from this date

N.B. You can continue to schedule appointments up until and throughout TRENZ until the last appointment on 12 May 2017.
