Terms & Conditions

Tourism Industry Aotearoa is committed to operating a fair and safe TRENZ for all delegates. As such, there are a number of important terms and conditions that every delegate must adhere to for the event to run smoothly.

Please take a few minutes to read these. It’s important to note that in making an application you are indicating your Company’s agreement to the TRENZ Terms and Conditions, including the cancellation terms.

The Terms & Conditions and Criteria, as detailed in the documents, are in place to protect the investment of those companies and their delegates who have paid to attend the event.

International Buyer

An International Buyer is defined as a Buyer who is based overseas and purchasing New Zealand product.

All cancellations must be made in writing to TIA. Cancellation Fees are equal to the invoice raised at the time of acceptance.

Cancellation Dates:
Prior to 27 January 2017: No cancellation fee applies
27 January 2017: 50% cancellation fee applies
7 March 2017: 100% cancellation fee applies.

New Zealand Buyer

A New Zealand Buyer is defined as a Buyer who is based in New Zealand and purchasing New Zealand product.

All cancellations must be made in writing to TIA. Cancellation Fees are equal to the invoice raised at the time of acceptance.

Cancellation Dates:
Prior to 27 January 2017: No cancellation fee applies
27 January 2017: 50% cancellation fee applies
7 March 2017: 100% cancellation fee applies.

Seller

A company who exhibits at TRENZ to showcase tourism products or services of interest to international and domestic buyers

All cancellations must be made in writing to TIA. Cancellation Fees are equal to the invoice raised at the time of acceptance.

Cancellation Dates:
Prior to 27 January 2017: No cancellation fee applies
27 January 2017: 50% cancellation fee applies
7 March 2017: 100% cancellation fee applies, includes extra booth space, external space and additional appointment streams.
24 April 2017: 100% cancellation fee for any additional purchases.

Trade Booth

A company that provides products or services of interest to New Zealand tourism businesses

All cancellations must be made in writing to TIA. Cancellation Fees are equal to the invoice raised at the time of acceptance.

Cancellation Dates:
Prior to 27 January 2017: No cancellation fee applies
27 January 2017: 50% cancellation fee applies
7 March 2017: 100% cancellation fee applies
24 April 2017: 100% cancellation fee for any additional purchases.

Media

A Media Delegate is a representative from a recognised online, international or New Zealand media outlet who is reporting on the New Zealand tourism industry.
