Booth Options

The booth type you require depends on what your organisation wishes to achieve at TRENZ 2010.

TIA makes the following recommendations as an indication for prospective Exhibitors:

New Exhibitor Booth

  • Entry level option designed to give new tourism products international exposure at a lower cost
  • Generally the organisation will have little or no established relationship with Buyers
  • A New Exhibitor booth will only be available to organisations which have not attended TRENZ previously and are new to the international market (between two and fiveyears since release/opening) (refer to the point 3 in the Exhibitor Criteria).
  • Entitled to one appointment schedule of 51, 15 minute appointments, of which:
    • Up to a maximum of 42 appointments may be pre-scheduled
    • In completing your online appointment requests you may make a maximum of 80 requests with key Buyers you have identified and wish to meet with

Single Booth

  • Suitable for operators developing their profile in international markets and as part of an international sales and marketing programme
  • A single booth is entitled to one appointment schedule of fifty one, 15 minute appointments, of which:
    • Up to a maximum of 42 appointments may be pre-scheduled
    • In completing your online appointment requests you may makea maximum of 80 requests to meet with key Buyers

Double Booth

  • Suitable for larger organisations that promote two or more products under one brand name, for example major accommodation providers, attraction groups and transport providers.
  • An indication of required annual turnover for this booth type is $750,000 or greater
  • Additionally the organisation should:
    • Complete other international sales and marketing activities
    • Have more than one product in the international market
    • Have more than five full time equivalent (FTE) staff
    • Have been in operation for more than 4 years
    • Have attended TRENZ a minimum of 3 times
      and
    • If they were a single booth holder previously, they have had more than 35 appointments pre-scheduled and more than 50 Buyer appointment requests on average in the past 2 years ; or
    • If they were a double booth holder previously, they have had more than 70 appointments pre-scheduled (total over 2 streams) and more than 50 Buyer appointment requests on average in the past 2 years
  • A double booth is entitled to two appointment schedules of fifty one, 15 minute appointments, of which:
    • Up to a maximum of 42appointments may be pre-scheduled per schedule
    • A maximum of 84 appointments in total may be pre-scheduled for a double booth.
    • In completing your online appointment requests you may make a maximum of 80 Buyer requests per schedule a maximum of 160 requests over two schedules.

Please note that a larger booth and additional appointment schedule/s do not guarantee more pre-scheduled appointments, but do increase your appointment opportunities and ability to make a visual impact. The booth type requested will be subject to availability and acceptance by the organiser.

Shared Booths

  • Suitable for Exhibitors who would like to “share” their booth and appointment schedule with another operator, thus halving the cost of attendance at TRENZ.
  • An application to the Exhibitor Selection Panel for a shared booth may be made by a lead company who would like to represent a maximum of two companies or products (by company or product name) on one booth on the following basis:
    • the products or brands are complimentary and suitable for Buyer presentation together
    • the two companies or products are able to share a single appointment schedule
    • evidence of the two companies/products having been promoted or marketed together
