Thank you for considering attending TRENZ 2012.
Buyer delegates and companies wishing to attend TRENZ 2012 will need to meet the Buyer criteria as detailed below and will need to complete and submit an online application form before 8 February 2012, 12.00pm (NZ time). By submitting the application form the Buyer delegate will agree and comply with the Buyer terms and conditions.
An approved TRENZ 2012 Buyer is an individual employee from an international or online organisation, who is nominated by industry partners including Tourism New Zealand (TNZ), Air New Zealand (Air NZ) or Qantas (QF) and who:
- receives an official personalised invitation to attend TRENZ 2012
- completes the online application process and
- receives an email of acceptance to attend
In order to be accepted as a TRENZ 2012 Buyer, the individual will have also read and understood the TRENZ 2012 Buyer terms and conditions and this Buyer attendance criteria.
In the case of New Zealand based buyers, they will have to read and comply with the New Zealand Buyer criteria 2012 separate to this document.
Completion of the Buyer application form will not necessarily result in acceptance to attend TRENZ 2012. The Organiser has the right to decline invited or uninvited individuals, even if they meet aspects of the TRENZ Buyer Criteria. Additions to the invitation list are not guaranteed and are at the discretion of the Organiser.
Buyers who do not meet the criteria and who wish to attend TRENZ 2012 will need to make a written application to the Organiser with their request and case for attendance. A written application and completion of the online application form will not necessarily result in acceptance to attend. Exceptions to the criteria are not guaranteed and are at the discretion of the Organiser.
Invitations are specific to the individual and are not transferable to another member of the same company, without prior consideration and consent from the Organiser.
Only one Buyer per company can attend TRENZ 2012 if the company they are representing is attending TRENZ for the first time.

New Zealand Buyer attendance criteria changes:
For New Zealand based tourism operators interested in attending TRENZ as Buyers, we have modified the process for attendance.
Any New Zealand (NZ) based companies that meet the criteria for Buyer attendance will be asked to apply to attend the event. This process will be similar to the Exhibitor application process where all applications for NZ Buyer attendance will be assessed by a panel of industry representatives. The reasons for the change in process are due to the overwhelming demand we have for the limited number of spaces available for NZ based Buyers at TRENZ.
Due to the Exhibitor applications closing before the TRENZ Buyer invitations are extended/applications received, we ask you to be mindful when considering your wishes to attend TRENZ 2012 in either capacity; as well as consider that due to the very limited spaces allocated to NZ Buyers we cannot guarantee acceptance as a Buyer.
Attendance in a NZ Buyer capacity is always hotly contested, and we encourage you to consider your eligibility and attendance at TRENZ in an Exhibitor capacity.
If you are interested in attending TRENZ as an Exhibitor organisation please click here to read more on TRENZ 2012 Exhibitor criteria and the application process which runs 11 November to 1 December.
NZ Buyers are charged under a different fee structure to international Buyers – please see here for details.
NZ Buyer acceptance is at the discretion of the selection panel at all times.
