The TRENZ programme is designed to provide you with pre-scheduled appointment opportunities to meet with relevant Exhibitors.
The programme includes 51 appointments. Each appointment is 15 minutes long.
You have five minutes to move to your next appointment.
You will be able to begin your pre scheduled appointment process from 12.00pm (NZ time) 10 March 2010 until 5.00pm (NZ time) 22 March 2010.
The process at a glance
This process allows attendees to fill their appointment schedule prior to TRENZ.
The process has three stages:
| Stage 1 |
Pre-scheduled appointment request process
This gives you the opportunity to request up to a certain number of appointments with Exhibitors you have identified you would like to meet with.
Make sure you allow yourself enough time to carefully prioritise the Exhibitors you wish to request an appointment with.

Stage 2
|
TIA runs the appointment scheduling programme/TRENZ software which allocates appointments to schedules.
The programme prioritises appointments as follows:
- Mutual appointments
Matching mutual requests where both a Buyer and an Exhibitor have requested to see one another. Mutual appointments are not necessarily guaranteed.
- Order of priority
This is the priority ranking given by Buyers and Exhibitors to each appointment request.
- Common appointment slots
Determining whether common appointment slots are available on both Buyer and Exhibitor schedules.
(The Organiser cannot guarantee that all appointment requests will be met). |

Stage 3
|
Online Diary is available from mid April.
Online Diary allows you to:
- View your appointment schedule
- Request additional appointments
- Accept or decline additional appointments
- Cancel appointments you do not wish to attend
Because the Online Diary stage is live it is recommended delegates review their diary on a daily basis to confirm or decline appointment requests or to search for Exhibitor appointment availability (those who were unavailable at the start may show free time as this stage progresses. |

Determining which Exhibitors to request appointments with
When selecting Buyers with whom you would like to request an appointment, we recommend the following:
| 1. |
Maintain existing relationships
Make appointments with Exhibitors with whom you already have an existing relationship. Use this opportunity to build the relationship and receive updates from the Exhibitor on any new products or changes and improvements.
|
|
2.
|
Pursue new business opportunities
Identify Exhibitors offering opportunities to expand your product offerings and grow your business.
|
|
3.
|
Online Exhibitor Search
Use the Exhibitor Search in your online Buyer Zone to thoroughly research the Exhibitors you wish to request appointments with.
|
|
4.
|
Prioritise your desired appointments: up to 42 of your 51 appointments will be pre-scheduled. In case all of your requests cannot be met due to popular demand, please request a minimum of 40 pre-scheduled appointments.
We recommend that you only request appointments with Exhibitors you want to meet with. This may mean that you do not need to use your full 80 appointment request fields. This is a better option than making appointments just to fill up your schedule.
