Join us in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington as the city welcomes TRENZ for the first time. TRENZ will connect highly qualified International and National Buyers with New Zealand’s leading tourism business.
Buyer programme includes:
- Welcome Function
- 50 pre-scheduled appointments over two days
- Networking hour at the end of day one
- Farewell Function
- Speaker series and innovation hub
TRENZ will also provide Buyers with the opportunity to experience New Zealand’s tourism products with TRENZ Wellington famils on the Wednesday and Saturday of the programme, and through pre-and-post TRENZ regional famils.

Wellington TRENZ Famils
New Zealand’s capital will host TRENZ for the first time ever in 2024 and Wellington's operators are excited to bring Buyers an extensive and extended TRENZ Famil Programme.
The format for TRENZ 2024 has been re-modelled to allow for more time before and after the business appointments for exploration and discovery of the Wellington region.
Here’s a small snapshot of what to expect:
On Wednesday 8 May, delve into the history and culture of Aotearoa New Zealand with 1-3 hour guided tours and must-do activities. As the nation's capital, Wellington is the perfect place to discover our nation's stories.
On Saturday 11 May, explore Wellington's big backyard with visits to neighbouring regions, Kāpiti Coast and Wairarapa. Bring your appetite as you unearth Kapiti's natural treasures or visit the boutique wineries of Martinborough.

Pre and post TRENZ Regional Famils
Joining us for TRENZ in 2024? Why not visit the regions before or after the event. Pre and post-TRENZ regional famils are organised by Regional Tourism Organisations (RTOs). They are an opportunity for you to get to know the regions of New Zealand first hand.

TRENZ Connect will be your place to find all TRENZ related activities including your registration and appointment matching for TRENZ 2024.
Review and update your company’s profile – complete the form and make sure your company’s information is up to date.
Check your delegates – have you had changes to your staff recently? To ensure the right people in your organisation are receiving the latest communications about TRENZ and TRENZ Connect, log into the platform and review your key contacts under the ‘delegates’ tab in the Organiser Portal. Please note that all delegates you add will have access to TRENZ Connect but only invited delegates will be able to register to attend TRENZ 2024. To request a change of delegate to be invited from your company, email info@trenz.co.nz

Applications for the Buyer programme will open on 1 November 2024. Invitations will be sent to invited Qualified Buyers, but all requests to attend will be considered against the Buyer criteria.
