Buyer Programme
TRENZ promises to deliver an exciting programme that brings buyers and New Zealand’s leading tourism businesses together to do business and build strong connections. Buyers also have the opportunity to experience Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland’s tourism experiences first hand on famil activities.
The buyer programme includes:
- Official pōwhiri on Monday 18 May
- Up to 52 prescheduled 15-minute appointments with sellers over the two and a half days
- Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland famil activities on Tuesday 19 May
- Networking focus with extended networking events including the Welcome Function on Tuesday evening, a light breakfast on the show floor on Wednesday and Thursday, and a relaxed networking function at the end of the day on Wednesday
- Haere rā hour
- Four nights of accommodation (18, 19, 20 and 21 May) for buyers who reside outside of Auckland
Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland will host the Celebration of Tourism - Tāmaki Street Party function on Thursday evening, offering an opportunity to celebrate our vibrant tourism community. Attendance is complimentary for buyers. If you wish to attend, please select this item when you register to be allocated a ticket.

The Auckland team looks forward to hosting you, with host city famil activities taking place on the morning of Tuesday 19 May. You will be able to request your preferred famil activities when appointment requests open on Tuesday 10 March 2026.
