TRENZ is New Zealand’s largest international tourism business event and the most important event of the year on the tourism events calendar. TRENZ brings hundreds of international travel buyers together to meet with New Zealand’s leading tourism operators (sellers) over three days to build or renew relationships and negotiate business for upcoming seasons. TRENZ 2027 will be held from 11-13 May 2027 in Ōtautahi Christchurch.
Seller registrations open on 1 October 2026.
Buyer registrations open on 12 November 2026.

Host region
Ōtautahi Christchurch is the host city for TRENZ 2027.

“Building on the strong platform showcased in 2023, the city has continued to evolve, with new infrastructure, visitor experiences and accommodation enhancing the visitor offering.
“There’s a real buzz in Ōtautahi, and we’re looking forward to sharing that energy with the travel trade and our industry partners.”
Venue
TRENZ 2027 will be held at the Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre.
Event format
TRENZ 2027 will be held from 11-13 May, and the event programme will include:
- Up to 52 15-minute appointments between buyers and sellers
- Multiple networking opportunities
- Host city famils for buyers
- Pre and post-TRENZ buyer famil opportunities
