New Seller Mentoring Programme
As a first time seller at TRENZ, we offer you the assistance of a mentor who is an experienced TRENZ seller and can lend you a helping hand to discuss how to get prepared in the lead up, during and post TRENZ. This can include but not limited to assisting with appointment requests, understanding the distribution system for your target markets, creating a product fact sheet and how to effectively complete follow ups.
As well as the assistance of our mentor, you also have access to our New Seller Helpful Hints Handbook. This document includes key information and useful tips and tricks that will aid you in making the most of your investment.
We also strongly encourage you to liaise with your local RTO, as they are also TRENZ experts.

We appreciate TRENZ is a big investment for your business, which is why we have two packages available for you to choose from. They are:
Standard seller package
The standard seller package is best suited to sellers who wish to have their own booth and full appointment stream at TRENZ.
Each standard seller package includes:
- One 1.8m x 1.8m footprint with walls, furniture, light, power
- One appointment stream with up to 52 pre-scheduled appointments
- Company sign
- One back wall image
- One full delegate pass including a ticket to the Welcome Function.
Shared seller package
Shared packages are where two seller operators mutually agree to share a booth and appointment stream with each other. This is a popular choice for New Sellers to give them an opportunity to get a taste of what TRENZ is about while not having to commit to a full appointment stream. We recommend you linking up with another seller who offers similar products or who you already work closely with.
Each shared seller package includes:
- One 1.8m x 1.8m footprint with walls, furniture, light, power
- One appointment stream with up to 26 pre-scheduled appointments
- Shared company sign
- Shared back wall image
- One full delegate pass including a ticket to the Welcome Function.
Please note that we do not match operators together, you must indicate who you intend on sharing with at time of registering.

What does it mean to be Internationally Trade Ready?
We want to ensure you make the most of your experience at TRENZ and gain the most value you can when meeting with Buyers. To do this, the products you are selling need to be trade ready for the international market. Here are a few questions to answer in order to make this happen:
- Is your product well established and accepted in the New Zealand market?
- Do you have a trade section on your website, a product manual or trade price list of your product offering/s?
- Do you understand inbound tourism distribution channels?
- Do you know what a rack or retail rate is?
- Do you understand the difference between a net and retail/rack rate?
- Are you offering a commission (off retail) or net wholesale rates for your product?
- Are you working with your RTO and i-SITE network?
- Do you have up to date business terms and conditions including payment and refund terms?
